Originally
developed as a fast business jet by Bill Lear
as the LearStar 600, Canadair bought the
exclusive rights and called the jet the
Challenger 600 when it was first delivered in
1980. The aircraft features a low/swept wing
with recognizable winglets, and dual, rear
fuselage mounted turbofan engines. Each side
of the fuselage has 6 cabin windows. The 600
has a swept T-tail with swept horizontal
stabilizer and seats up to 19 passengers plus
a two man crew. It has a cruise speed of 470
knots and a range of 3200 nautical miles.
Viceroy Jets serves as an
agent for clients seeking air charter and assists them in finding
the best operators at the best prices possible. It does not own or
operate aircraft. All flights are operated by FAA certified part 135
carriers. Carriers providing service for Viceroy Jets must meet both
FAA requirements and additional Viceroy Jets standards.
